Following the successful signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday, the Fisheries delegation conducted a productive visit to the National Company for Fisheries and Aquaculture (NCFA) in Fayrouz
The visit included an on-the-ground meeting and a thorough examination of key sites, including the viewpoint, dockyard, lifting pump stations, sorting and parking plant, ice factory, and central laboratories.
The delegation was received by the top management of NCFA, including Major General Nasser Kamal al-Din Fathallah, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Head ofFayrouz Aquaculture Project; Major Dr. Emad Essam, Lieutenant Colonel; Major General Adel Rashid, Head of the Organization and Administration Branch for Human Resources; Mohamed Al-Sayed Lutfi from the Production Department; Major General Mohamed Shadi; Lieutenant Colonel Karim Zahran from the Organization and Administration Branch; Vet. Major Emad Othman (PowerPoint Presenter); and Major Mohamed Yassin (Interpreter).
The tour proceeded to Port Said on a site visit to see the ten modern “WATANEYA” fishing vessels that are part of the MoU to increase fish production in Sierra Leone.
